Is this arrangement appropriate for me to participate in?

For most people, yes — this program is designed to be a genuine thank-you for a meaningful introduction, not an incentive to act in anyone's interest other than your own network's. If you're currently employed, we recommend checking that your employer's policies permit participation in outside referral arrangements. If you're uncertain, we're happy to provide a short program summary you can share with your compliance team.

Do I need to advocate for VectorVue or be involved in the sales process?

Not at all. For the Partner Introduction program, your role is simply to make a warm introduction — a quick email or LinkedIn message is all it takes. We take it from there. You're not asked to recommend us, negotiate on our behalf, or influence any decision. We earn the business (or we don't) entirely on the merits of our work.

How do I know if my referral is already in your system?

For candidate referrals, simply submit the referral form and we'll let you know within one business day whether the candidate is already in our active database. For client introductions, all referrals are tracked from the date of submission — first referrer on record is recognized. When in doubt, submit anyway and we'll sort it out transparently.

What if the engagement starts and then stops before hitting all milestones?

You're paid for every milestone that is actually reached. If an engagement concludes before a later milestone, you retain any fees already earned. Milestones that haven't been triggered are not paid out, but there's no clawback of amounts already received.

How and when are payments made?

Payments are issued within 30 days of each qualifying milestone being confirmed. You can choose how you'd like to receive your appreciation: bank transfer (ACH/EFT), cheque, VectorVue business credits (if you're an existing client), a charitable donation made in your name, or a gift card. Just let us know your preference when a milestone is reached — we're happy to accommodate.

Can I refer both a candidate and a client at the same time?

Absolutely. The two programs are independent of each other, and there's no limit to the number of referrals you can submit across either program. Each qualifying referral is tracked and paid separately.

Is there a time limit on referrals?

Referrals must be submitted before VectorVue has independently engaged with the candidate or company. Once submitted, referrals remain on file for 12 months. If VectorVue places the referred candidate or secures the referred client within that 12-month window, the referral fee applies.
